Tactix stores all your squads and match plans locally on your device — we have no servers. Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage data (device model, app version, feature interactions) to help us improve the app. We do not collect personal information, we do not sell data, and no accounts are required.
Tactix is an independent football tactics planning app. It lets you build squads, explore formations, analyze playing styles, and save tactical match plans. The app does not require a user account, email address, or any personal identification to function.
This Privacy Policy explains what data the app handles, how it is used, and what rights you have. By using Tactix, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Tactix is designed to work with minimal data. Here is a clear breakdown of everything the app handles:

We do not intentionally log or transmit custom squad names, personal notes, player names you enter, or any user-written text to analytics or any external server.

We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating and improving Tactix.
Tactix uses Firebase Analytics (a Google service) to understand how users interact with the app. Firebase Analytics collects anonymous, aggregated usage data. It generates a random app-instance identifier for your installation — this is not linked to your name, email, or any identity you provide.
Google may process Firebase Analytics data on servers outside your country of residence. Google handles this data in accordance with their privacy policies.

To opt out of Firebase Analytics data collection on Android, you can enable Limit Ad Tracking or use Opt out of Ads Personalization in your device's Google settings. You may also reset your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
All tactical content you create — squads, formations, match plans — is stored locally on your device using Android's local database. We do not operate any sync servers, cloud backup services, or remote databases.
This means your data is entirely under your control. If you uninstall the app, clear app data from Android Settings, or perform a factory reset, all locally stored tactical content will be permanently deleted. We cannot recover it, as we never had a copy.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Analytics data collected by Firebase may be processed by Google as a service provider. This is solely for operating the analytics service and is governed by Google's agreements with us and their own privacy policies.
We may disclose data if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of Tactix, our users, or the public.
If Tactix is ever acquired or merged with another entity, any data practices would be disclosed to users in advance, and users would retain their rights under applicable law.
Local data remains on your device until you delete it manually, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. We have no copies of this data.
Analytics data is retained in accordance with our Firebase Analytics retention settings (default: 14 months for event data). You can request information about or deletion of analytics data associated with your device's app-instance identifier by contacting us at mwangistanley746@gmail.com. Because analytics data is anonymous and device-bound, we will provide what assistance we can within the technical limits of the Firebase platform.
You have full control over your data:
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under GDPR or UK GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of data about you. Because Tactix collects no personal identity data and all tactical data is stored locally on your device, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device without needing to contact us. For analytics-related requests, contact us and we will assist to the extent technically possible.
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what data is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Tactix is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any account creation or personal information to use.

While we take security seriously, no system is completely impervious. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Tactix does not use advertising SDKs, social login SDKs, payment processors, or any other third-party services beyond Firebase Analytics.

All tactical concepts, formations, and play style references within the app are used for general informational and planning purposes.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features, changes in the law, or changes in how we operate. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through an in-app notice or an updated Play Store listing. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Tactix after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
